Schedule of Events
The Annual Black Heritage Festival kicks off Friday, February 29th with a “free” zydeco street dance in beautiful downtown Lake Charles. It continues Saturday, March 3rd at the Lake Charles Civic Center. If you’re hungry for mouthwatering food, terrific music and great family fun then this is the place for you. Entertainers perform gospel, zydeco, blues, spoken word and more on the Kids and Main Stages. There are approximately 70 vendors displaying and selling a wide variety of goods and services.
