"Poetry Is My Lyfe, Revenge Is My Mission" - The Stage Play

The Black Heritage Festival has teamed up with United Front Entertaiment and Front Cover Presents to bring you the hit stage play Poetry Is My Lyfe, Revenge Is My Mission based off of the Novel by Rae-Shell W. Jenkins After discovering her husband Zachary's double life filled with drugs, lies, and money...Ariyah Lyfe begins to think with her mind and not with her heart! No more Mrs. Nice Wife! She embezzles her abusive husband's drug money to finance her escape. His "Lyfe" is revealed by an unsuspecting poet!

Keith Frank & the Soileau Zydeco Band

The people of Southwest Louisiana and Southeast Texas who love to dance will tell you that any conversation about Zydeco music must mention Keith Frank. He has been a leader of the Zydeco movement almost since the time he started his family based Soileau Zydeco Band. The band has been making dance floors shake since 1990 and show no sign of stopping.

Leon Chavis wants to change the way you listen, understand and dance to Zydeco music. He is a part of a new generation of Zydeco Musicians proving that real talent, hard work, persistence, and charisma still have a place in the music industry. Leon is well versed in Zydeco, Southern Soul, R & B, and Jazz. With his incredibly smooth voice, and clever lyrics, his debut CD, The Heat Is ON, was a great success.
