Partners in Education
Black Heritage Festival has enjoyed a rewarding relationship with John F. Kennedy Elementary School and considers it a privilege to be involved with the school through the Partners in Education Program. Over the years of involvement with the program, we have watched the growth of Kennedy Elementary with great pride.

In addition to a monetary contribution, BHF brings in annual performing arts programs, and supports recognition of teachers and support staff. We welcome Betty Keeter and Barbara Thompson to the BHF Partner in Education committee for the 2006-07 school year. Both ladies have a wide range of volunteer experiences in the community and are retired Calcasieu Parish school teachers. Frankie Lane chairlady.
